Company Insight

Proff Connect includes multiple Lightning Web Components (LWCs) designed to visualize complex company data in a user-friendly way. These components can be placed on either the Account record page or the Company Insight record page using the Lightning App Builder.

NOTE
All companies does not have data in all of these categories. Some of the LWC will display "No data available" in those cases.

IMPORTANT: All components (except the primary "Company Insights" LWC) are Read-Only. They depend on data being stored in the "Company Insight" object. This happens automatically if "Always Store" is enabled in General Setup, or if a user triggers a data fetch via the primary Company Insights LWC.

Fetching & Viewing Data

We recommend using the Company Insight LWC as your primary tool. It provides a complete 360-degree overview and allows users to fetch fresh, real-time data from Proff with a single click.

This component is the only way to manually fetch "Child Records" (such as Shareholders, Financials, and Roles) if the "Always Store" option is disabled in your Proff App Settings.

Optimizing Your Page Layout

To maintain a clean and efficient user interface on the Account record page, we recommend the following setup:

  1. Create a Custom Tab: Use the Lightning App Builder to add a new tab named "Proff Insights" or "Company Data" to your Account page layout.

  2. Add Components: Place the Company Insight LWC inside this tab.

  3. Result: This allows your sales team to quickly toggle between standard CRM data and deep Proff business intelligence without cluttering the main record view.

Strategic Component Placement

While we recommend using a dedicated tab for the full data set, you can also place specific "child components" strategically on your page layouts for instant visibility.

  • Quick Insights: Place the Key Figures or Balance Sheet or other desired components directly on the page to give users immediate access to key metrics as soon as they open the Account.

  • Flexibility: This allows you to tailor the interface to your team's specific workflow, ensuring the most relevant Proff data is always front and center.
